Missions Training Program

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent?" [Romans 10:13-15]

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." [Mark 16:15]

The above quoted verses classify our mandate as believers; Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke in his book: Evangelism By Fire quotes a statements that says: "we are a 'Go' Church, not a 'Sit' Church". The common perception in the body of Christ in this day and age is that evangelists, pastors and all those called in the 5-fold are the only ones called to bring in the harvest of souls, however that is not so, the Five-Fold is called to equip the body for the work of the ministry according to Ephesians 4:12.

"For God so loved the World" in John 3:16 is still as relevant today as it was when Jesus said it, His love is still calling out to the lost today as radical as it did the day Jesus died on that Cross. The harvest is truly plenteous and we have been given a mandate to 'Go'.

Every Tribe Missions is one of the vehicles that have been strategically called by God to go out into remote areas and communities to fulfil the great commission. The word commission according to the dictionary is: A formal statement of a command or injunction to do something; so the Bible does not suggest for us to go into the world, it commands for us to do so. As the church we are an army that submits under the Chief Commander ( Jesus) and He said 'Go ye'; one of the marks of a strong army is submission to commands, however as the Church of Jesus Christ we do not win the lost because we are compelled to do so, we do it because our love for God births within us the love for what God loves and souls are primary on that list.

As our passion for God eventually increases it gives birth to passion for the things that concern Him, and the salvation of the souls of men are among the closest to the heart of God; He didn't save us so we can belong to the 'Christian Club', He did that to extend influence through us. We are, as the Bible would call us the Body of Christ and Christ Himself is the head (Colossians 1:18),and if the head is to ever go anywhere the Body has to engage it's facilities and limbs. If Jesus is to ever touch and change humanity, the Church (body) has to go out into the harvest fields. We are the hands and feet of Jesus and if He ever was to change this generation and those to come it will be through us; we have been entrusted with the message of hope, the only hope for humanity which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We are living in the end times and it is time for all hands to be on deck, 2 Corinthians 5:18 clearly states that He has redeemed us and has given us the task of redeeming others to Him, maximum impact will only happen if we all put our hands on the plough and bring in the harvest of souls into the Kingdom like never before.

Practically according to scripture everyone who has been redeemed is called into the ministry... That is the ministry of reconciliation. We do not have to be pastors or any of the office in the 5-Fold; but as a businessman, administrator, teacher, and doctor or any other profession or vocation we have been called to make an impact and expand the Kingdom of God in our areas of Influence, of which that is our mission field.

God is looking for men and women who will partner with His eternal vision as declared in 2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." As the word quotes God desires for ALL to come to repentance, hence we go into ALL the world.

One of the greatest joyful moments I have experienced was seeing a life eternally transformed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus from darkness into His marvellous light; and to imagine that He did not assign the ministry of reconciliation to angels or any other being but us to be a part of that... what a great privilege and an honour.

Let us go out there and tell the world of the greatness we have in Jesus, they are desperately in need of Him and we have the power to shed abroad the light in their hearts and to have their lives eternally impacted.
