A LETTER TO JOE 5 MARCH

Set in 1970s Las Vegas and Florida, “A Letter for Joe” is a modern retelling of the Bible story
of Joseph and the power of forgiveness. Seventeen year old Joe Roberts is given a prank
letter by his older brother and his friends, a letter that sends Joe on a wild goose chase to
Las Vegas for a fake meeting with reclusive billionaire Howard Hughes. Armed with only the
phony letter and God’s promises that all things work together for good, Joe, in fact, is able to
meet the richest man in America and strike up a friendship.

As Joe is prospering, the fortunes of the older boys go in the opposite direction. They fear that
when Joe finally returns home he will retaliate for the elaborate ruse. And the depth of God’s
forgiveness is put to the test for all of the young men, for several very different reasons. What
started as a joke, turns deadly serious and while determining that true forgiveness is no joke.

Grandpa Will, who carries around his wife’s urn, has only one wish: to find the tree where he
fell in love with his soul mate. His memory of the tree’s whereabouts have since faded, but
luckily, his 15-year-old granddaughter unveils a series of forgotten love letters that give clues
to the tree’s location. The dysfunctional family embarks on a road trip to find the tree and
finally put their beloved wife, mother and grandmother to rest. Encountering one disaster
after another, they begin to work together as a team and through God’s guidance learn to
function as a loving family.

Cara Jarvis longs to be a part of the in-crowd at her new high school. In an effort to impress
town hottie Brandon, she befriends Grace, a girl with Down Syndrome, a friendship she tries
to hide when she meets popular girls Skylar and Quinn. When Skylar loses her bid to be on
the Homecoming Court, she sets it up for Grace to win Homecoming Queen … as the Senior
Prank. Grace wins, is publicly humiliated, and Skylar rigs it so that Cara takes the blame.
Cara must win back Brandon, restore her friendship with Grace, and save her reputation at
her school.

DYING TO BE HERAD 26 MARCH

Rachel is a high-powered executive striving to climb the corporate ladder, however; sudden-
ly finds herself thrown into an emotional crisis when she discovers she is pregnant. Having
to choose between her blossoming career, versus a life on unexpected sacrifice, her world
seems to be closing in around her, as her spiritual perspectives start to become challenged
as well. This riveting and heart-wrenching film underscores the reality of God’s compassion
for every human life, from the disabled, to the autistic, to those who perished in the Holo-
caust, and especially the unborn, and motivates us all to be a voice for Love, Life and for all
those “dying to be heard!”
